onan generator service at the dutch classic
 

I just had motorhome gen. Service at camping world today they replaced fuel pump and installed new carb. They stated all is good and also proformed load test etc. Etc. I just started it 1 hour ago and it runs fine but no output of electric power at all. I checked breakers and fuses all are good and of course they are closed now. My intent is to come up after work thursday night leaving at 12;30am. Will get in 2;00am. Sleep and tech in . will anyone be up who services these generators diamond rv ? Ect ect.

There are two racers that service and repair Onan generators and usually run that race BUT Neither us will be at the Dutch this week.

Many Onans won't stay running if they have no AC output. If you tell me what model you have I can possibly give you some things to look at......I need to know the letter code off the ID plate so I know what model your talking about.....they make a lot of them. KW rating alone will not tell me what you have.....Maybe your generator is fine but something is wrong in the M-H connection area...again there are a number of things to check.....

Laddie there are 2 breakers on the side box at gen. If my memory serves me right . May be just one if it a small watts .Red Le Blanc hope this helps

Rich and RED THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY RED AS YOUR MEMORY STATEDTHIER IS A 30AMP BREAKER LOCATED ON THE FRONT OF UNIT IT WAS OFF OH MY NOW ITS ON YEAH AND YES THIER ISELECTRIC TO BOOT A NEW LEASSON LEARNED AGAIN THANKS TO YOU BOTH NOW AFTER WORKING MY 12 HOUR SHIRT I CAN BE AT THE DUTCH THIS WEEKEND AND RUN MY NEW STOCKER FIRST TIME OUT PSTK AUTO 1965 CHEVY WAGON LADDIE STONE BROKE RACING I WAS UPSET NOW I FEEL ALOT BETTER
