Did Some SS/Stk Racers Bail at Maple Grove Before?
 

Is there any truth about some racers in SS & Stk bailing out of Maple Grove after not getting to run or getting moved into the mud? Was it also tru the an NHRA official told a few SSers that fans come to see nitro and not you guys? Just asking.:confused:

None that I know of ........nada - zip - zero . And I'm sure if an official would have said that he or she would be in deep stuff ............................Why in the world would you ask ? Just stirring things ................

Some guys did bail and defer their entry which is good for one year.I think we lost 14 cars in Stock.Don't know how many in SS.I seriously doubt anyone from NHRA made a comment like that.

Those entrants bailed before they went - not because they got parked in the mud or didn't get to run ...........I don't know of any that were in the track and left .

Jack,I saw at least 3 guys leave when they got untrapped in the parking field.

I know a couple racers left due to the fact that we were only getting one time shot and going into eliminations. I was there and figured there was no sense in leaving. NHRA did what they had to do. There was no mud in the pits when we pitted Thursday from what I could see. After all said and done, I think the event went well. I still had a great time!
