Shootout update
We'll were on for Saturday. I hate to say it, but weather permitting. We have at least 2 qualified racers who can't make it and possible 2 more depending on the outcome of the Atco race. So if you are anywhere near the top 16 on the points list it may be worth while to be at the track Saturday and ready to race.
The pairings will be 1 vs. 9, 2 vs.10, 3 vs.11, we'll hopefully you get it. The 1st alternate will take the highest qualified no show and so on. Alternates: 1st. Jim Whitehead 2nd John Gray 3rd Keith Sansone 4th Vic Santos 5th 3 way tie and if needed we'll see who shows out to the 3. Pomponi Jr., Lynch, and Beriault Ties are broken by best finish. The qualifiers names will be on a list at the gate, just give them your name and tell them you are in the Shootout and USALLY entry is free, but this hasn't been confirmed yet. There will be a charge for crew. Not sure on the alternates, but hopefully we can get them in also. We should have more on this later in the week. George |

Re: Shootout update
Important info
The following racers (including 2 alternates)may give their name at the gate saturday and get in for the shootout, free. You must sign the waiver and get teched. Greg Gay Gary Parker Bob Broadbent Joe Santangelo Steve Sparago Don Pires jr Arnie Martel Dean Cook sr George Mirza Billy Pires Dean Cook II Jim Reid Tony Fillipone Gene Monahan Jim Whitehead John Gray alternates- Keith Sansone and Vic Santos Dean Riberio and Bob Vogel have let us know that they can not attend so their names are not on the list. We highly recommend that if you are thinking of attending saturday and are in the top 25 or so,show up saturday as anything can happen and if people don't show or they brake, alternates will be put in. Some of these racers listed are still in at atco and will be towing up to new england asap ASRA is happy to announce that the shootout is sponsored once again by Mark Markow, he has made a 500 dollar sponsorship contribution and we thank him. Looking forward to a great weekend of ASRA racing |

Re: Shootout update
Greg Gay
Parker Broadbent Santangelo Sparago D Pires Dean Cook sr Martel Mirza B.Pires Cook II Reid Fillipone Monahan Gray Whitehead Sansone Lynch Pomponi P Sutherland Boudreau This is a list of the top 20, Bob Vogel,Dean Ribeiro, and Vic Santos can not make it and have been removed from the list, I would recommend that ALL these racers show up on Saturday , as they may get in the shootout, some of the top 16 may not make it or break. |
Re: Shootout update
Again ,We can not tell who will be at Atco and who won't, so we suggest that everyone on the above list and a few additional show up on saturday. We could go way down the points list, maybe as far as 25th to fill the field for the shootout.

Re: Shootout update
For the record. I will be at epping. Just wondering how many cars will miss atco with virginia and epping going on. I think I have picked the better place to be. Gary
