National Open - Kearney Raceway Park
 

Great weather here on Saturday, great car turnout.

Weather Sunday supposed to be mid 30`s, but will warm up.

I realized that when I originally posted this Saturday night I failed to recognize the businesses that hepled make this race possible. they are as follows, in no particular order:

I think it was was around 2500 feet with a head wind. Sunday will have a tail wind and if you can get it to hook many will go faster today. Records set so far were Ron Roddel GT/MA somwhere around a 10.52, Carroll Warling SS/MA low 10.70s somthing Larry Schmidt SS/PA, Don OMalley SS/JA. Others that had rs on the windows were Carson Pedigo C/SA who had tied the record , Gene Bichlmeier GT/I, Wayne Denklau SS/K Tom Moock O/SA. Teardowns done Roddel and Warling, others are going to be sunday and will miss the eleminator. To Bob Rice 5 Chevy IIs on the sheet.

Update O Malley went 10.13 this morning corrected is a 9.88 in SS/JA, Larry Schmidt went 11.75, 11.46 in SS/PA most picked up 3 to 5. Tom
