Looks like the racers down at Charlotte werent the only ones getting robbed this past weekend !!......Competition Plus says there was an armed robbery at the E-town offices ,http://www.competitionplus.com/drag-...bbed-on-monday DRO says over $100 k was stolen!...........E-town is one of the few tracks that still pays out in cash, I bet that policy might soon change!.............Tom

Thieves in and around Englishtown is nothing new......Armed robbery is though. I think many people know who works in the office at E-Town. I hope she is ok if it was who I am thinking that was there during the holdup.....she is to nice to have something like that happen to her....

E-Town does pay in cash usually and always has.

Car theft as well as items taken from your trailer while you were racing has happened in the past.

One year there were about 10 cars stolen. Usually the thieves followed racers when they left the track and waited for an opportunity. I do recall one rig was taken right from the racetrack area.....

One of my best friends had his truck/trailer/car taken from the old Cantore's......we got the car back......it was in NY.......

I live 6 miles north of the track and I was loading up my trailer with junk for the swap meet this weekend.
If the gremlin picks up 1/2 sec. next year you'll know I'm a damn liar.
Some people think that everytime you go through the gate it's robbery.
A few weeks ago someone drove onto the property and obsconded with an ATM machine.The larceny crowd is working overtime up here.

Jim,clean up the mess.Computors do not like soda.Their taste runs more to wine.In the case of this site sometimes it's whine.
