They were the only company that would make a set of headers for my Camaro with the Fastburn flange. Everyone else (hooker/headman) said they would bolt right up. Ya and cover 25% of the exaust port. They are not Davis or Lemons headers but for $300 bucks who cares. I just bought a set of their stepped headers and they are really nice and work well.

That I dont know....new combo and when I bolted up my Headman's to the bare head I noticed there was a definite port alignment problem. They look ok and like I said for 300 bucks they are worth a try. I have used these headers for years on my street car and they have definitly improved over the years in quality. I know there are alot of people out there who swear by 3000 dollar stainless headers but im a normal working man who can justify that.

Crate Motor do you have a part number for those Schoenfeld headers you're using?

Re: Schoenfeld drag headers

There is only a few set of headers they make for 67-69 Camaro/Nova. I called them direct and spoke with a guy and told them what headers I wanted and what flange. There website has hundreds of different headers flanges to choose from in .PDF file format with all the dimentions you need.. And they will put any flange on any header for nothing. Its like having a custom header shop at your fingertips and for what they charge its not worth firing up the welder. They might not make the best performing header but you can put good collectors on them to wake them up. I also asked them to not weld the collectors onto the headers and they just sent me the collectors seperate and a kit to make them slip on with the bolts and brackets. And they send you trick bolts that are 3/8 thread and take a 5/16 wrench or socket for tight fit applictaions. Ohh and a set of gaskets for whatever flange you choose. Nice guys to deal with.:)

The headers fit perfectly and no custom wrenches to get the plugs out. Nice stuff.

Do you know who you talked to? I called and the guy I got was much less helpfull. than the person you got. I was told the small block drag headers can not come with out the collector. I was hoping to get them that way as I all ready have the merge collectors.

Re: Schoenfeld drag headers

I have a few sets from them that we use for dyno headers.
There was a set on my Camaro when running a 355 W/ spread port Brodix heads. X-2 on what Crate Camaro said...
