New Mopar Stock Engine

We tested the new Mopar 2012 Stock motor rated @ 440 hp. It is 600 cid, special new head based off of Allen Johnson's pro stock. It has 2 wiffle blowers on it. Made a bunch of torque, but hp was a little off. 389, but we still tuning. Pictures available if you are interested. Really low compression. The shipping will probably be 3300 to compensate for the weight of the blowers. AA/SA

How do the wiffle blowers compare to the Whipple blowers ? :-)

They are lower profile to clear the hood scoop.

It's OK, if they give up the dry sump. But that factor is nuts. Should be 400, maybe 410.

John, the wiffles are about the same as Whipples. But, they are plastic and come in nifty colors.

With all the BS goin on this sounds right in line with the current thinking at NHRA except the horsepower is a little to high to start with. Make it 375 and its a deal, except I think its a waffle blower not a wiffle lol.

The wiffle is plural for the singular waffle. It has two blowers.
