Just to let everyone know that first round is tomorrow morning. No time shots, they will try to run everything tomorrow because of the possible rain on Sunday.
It was beautifully day here in the mid 70's, but we did have a strong cross wind 10-14mph. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same. My hat goes off to NHRA for getting most of the race done in two days. I am sure this has been said before, but the whole NHRA crew worked there butts off to finish the program before the bad weather came in. Its raining this morning and not sure if the last few finals will be run today. Super Stock, Top Alcohol Dragster and Top ALcohol Funny Car are left. Congrats to Tom Goldman on his Super Gas win. Although I have only just got to know Tom, I can say he is a class act. And from what I here in the pits he is great guy, dedicated with a passion for the sport. |
