reported in the Arizona Republic newspaper & Drag Race Central 8/21/10...Phoenix National event will move from February to October in 2011 and will be in the countdown.....any other events being moved?

Note:
I have tentatively booked a race at Speedworld, Az, October 8-9, 2011 for a "class nationals" type event.
I'm not stealing the name from Alex either. This is just so you'll know what I'm talking about.

This would be about 4-5 days before the new Fall Nat. event at Firebird.

This is all contingent on the fact that there will be Stock and Super Stock run at Chandler.
We won't know for sure until next month.

That weekend would be the same on as the Div 7 bracket finals. That is the reason that the track will be available. The finals will most likely be at B'field or Vegas.
I can't see where that would be much of a conflict.

Is there any interest in this out there? Participants? Sponsors?

I think its a cool idea but for any of us that actually bracket race in div 7 I would think we would end up at the et finals. Where did you find the date for the et finals? I know this year they are the last weekend of September.
