DragRaceCentral.Com

I find it interesting that most drag race internet magazines have stories about the tragic death of Mark Niver but DragRaceCentral has nothing. To me they use selective reporting. Right or wrong?

DRC caters to racers. Most racers had heard about the tragic event,
if you want gore go buy the enquirer or the globe.

We usually let Bob Frey write the story when we lose someone and I am sure he will have a lot to say about Mark. I am still in shock, Dave Gerard was way too close a friend of Mark's to be able to write anything rational, and Bob has a way of making the best of a bad situation.

In less than a month, two alcohol racers I have known for a long time have lost their lives at the end of the track - both were experienced, skilled, and meticulous about preparing their equipment for each race. Sometimes, stuff just happens, I guess.

Wrong.

And Larry was correct, Bob Frey has done an outstanding piece on Mark Niver, and it is posted at DRC. It's an excellent tribute, obviously written after a day of reflection.
