Did anyone see the super comp show this AM? they did a pretty good job explaining it and followed a couple teams through the day.

I watched that show. They followed Kathy Fisher (normally part of Inside Drag Racing) and the gentleman from Lokar.

They actually did a good job. Although they both lost 1st round. Kathy did a great job of explaining things and I noticed she uses Crew Chief Pro software with a .0115 ratio. Pretty close to ours. She runs her car on alcohol and explained a little about the pills required to run alcohol.

The Lokar dragster was interesting to watch. Good Mph. But, if you watch his time trial runs, you'll notice puffs of smoke out of the headers while it's in high gear. I thought that looked odd and wondered how long it would last. He was way slow in the first round and found it was something in the distributor. His crew chief should have noticed that.

Anyway, they did do a good job and it was interesting.

Thanks! Sure wish I could have done a little better on the track... ;) But boy did I have fun....and..........as we all know, we better at least be doing that, right?!!? (OK that lasts for a little while anyway...then it's time to get back to winning...........lol :p)

Did anybody notice that Kathy closes her visor after launch? I thought it was just an oversight the first time I saw it, but then she did it a couple more times. Or maybe it was the same tape played again and again.

I'm sure she didn't learn that at Hawley's school :)

i started doing that as well. helps with visor fog.

There are dozens of anti-fog sprays available that work well. A single cheap bottle will last a lifetime.
