Wilwood Brakes, tech person contact

Do we have a "go to person" at Wilwood who can guide the selection of brake system parts?

As much as it pains me to say this, a resounding NO!
We are a Wilwood dealer and sell a lot of their product.
I mean a LOT. Hell, we use it as well.
Wilwood has the worst tech support of any racing brake parts dealer I know of and we represent 5 or 6 of them.
Via, phone you can NEVER reach anyone, only voice mail and then NEVER a call back.
Via e-mail responses are slow (typically a week) if at all and then full of excuses why they were too busy to reply.
Recently I had to call the sales manager and throw the tech guy under the bus just to him to call back.

Maybe we can help you out with your brake needs.
Give us a call.

Hmmm..............I just called Wilwood in California at 805-388-1188 and ordered front brake pads for their calipers and got someone on the phone that was very helpful. No problem's.

Give Stainless Steel Brake Corp a call 716-407-0120 is their Tech line, they have light weight race calipers and are an IHRA contingency sponsor. Leave a message and the WILL call you back!
