coparts.com

That is the dumbest commercial I ever saw. Kenny Bernstien should be embarrased. In my opinion.

Because he looks like the joker (from Batman)?

Have any of you been to the Copart.com website?
I have visited several times now and have yet to find anything interesting.
It seems to be a small time operation to be able to support a Top Fuel Team.
Other opinions?
Am I missing some part of the website or something there?
Just My Observation

with average sales of 5000 cars per day at average fees about $1000 per car = about $5,000,000 per day not really small time

That was some bad plastic surgery, for sure. I'll bet if he opened one more button down on his shirt and we would se his navel.

Where did those stats come from?
Coparts own website advertising?
I searched it and did not find much and the days I looked there was less than 20,000 total listings in the entire site shown when I went there. I find it hard to believe with less than 20,000 total listings they sell an average of 5,000 a day. I also do not know what kind of fees they charge but I noted a lot of salvage vehicles which were selling for less than the $1000 average fee you quote.
I just looked and there are 59,106 listings as per the web site right now 12:45 PM CST 6-20-2010.
From my observations I can not make the numbers work.
Am I missing something there?
I just do not understand it.

Remember the Diamond Mine company that jumped in a few yars ago with lots of sponsorships? That was a total scam and this kinda reminds me of it. I could be wrong!

This is a very big operation I know a few guys that deal with them and they are not happy on the T/F sponser they would rather have the money applied to lower cost for them

Re: coparts.com

Yes, this is definitely not a small time operation. We deal with them frequently. There are fees for every vehicle you purchase, and every time I see the amount that these fees cost, I think that I am supporting Kenny Bernstein. Just look at the amount of facilities they have all around the United States.
