Crutchfield crash
ROCKINGHAM, N.C. - Mike Crutchfield, Montgomery, Alabama, was uninjured when his '08 Pontiac G5 went out of control after completing a 147 mph qualifying run.
The throttle on Crutchfield's Super Stock/D-Modified entry hung open, then a front tire blew when Crutchfield got on the brakes hard to slow the car. The car spun around, going from the right lane across the left lane and into the wall before stopping. Crutchfield was able to exit the car without assistance. |
Re: Crutchfield crash
I did talk to Mike. He is fine. The LR quater is damaged a touch and thats about it. Someone else said the throttle hung but I did not talk to him about that as they were working on the l/f caliper which was locking up. He did say that most likely he will not run 1st round of the TOC race.
