471" DRCE 4.840 1180 HP.

Ingles piece built new ( 2004) that made 1140. Over the course of two years I invested a total of more than 100 grand in this motor and picked it up to 1180. It comes with both an HRE and CFE manifolds and a super trick Book carb. This is a legit A/ED motor. Last time out it went 60 under.

OK here comes the tough part. The motor ( A/ED legal wet sump ) has been hurting the rod bearings ( mostly #2 ). Tried two cranks ( Bryant ), two different oil pumps, and quite a few visits to ingles for evaluation and rebuilding.

I've since switched classes and am looking to move this motor.
You probably couldn't by the parts in this motor for less than 50 grand.

Only 1 run since Ingles freshen up. I could not sell without being upfront about my experience, but this is a cheap way to get qualifying horsepower or to buy it and part it out.
