A shame that they lost Mooresville. I've always enjoyed that event, but Union is 50 mi. closer for me and a very nice, new facility.

Mooresville is still an IHRA sanctioned track, just a venue change. Look forward to visiting Union myself.

I agree with you Anne, about the Hot part....but much better than freezing cold like the Farm!

I sure hope they come back next year. I won my only Iron Man there in 2005 and naturally I have fond memories of racing there. Also dinner at Big Daddies, need I say more. Mike

I hope the racers support this race, being the last race and 100 degree heat I hope we have 220 cars for the track owners sake. Its a longer ride for me but no big deal.

While we are talking wishes, I wish the Union race would count as Division 9 and Division 2 in division race. Union County is a Division 2 track, Heat Wave is on the website. I'll be there anyway, because I had planned on Mooresville being an out-of-division for me. It is a nice track, clean restrooms, good concessions, and level parking.
