Is Big Daddy Serious?
Doesn't look like Big is getting any seat time. His RT's are all over the map. Maybe he just comes for the recognition:confused:

I believe the guy is in his 70s
Let him enjoy it |
Re: Is Big Daddy Serious?
I think it would be neat if Big slugged his way through six rounds and the guy from the other side of the ladder in the final was.....Bobby Warren. Combined ages of 150 years, or more. Now that would be worth paying to see.

The water is warm..Come on in |
Re: Is Big Daddy Serious?
Last year he raced Fletch and I think the light was a .006 to a .009 in favour of big.Not too many times a 70 year old man does that.Still one of the Greatest men to ever race period.

Re: Is Big Daddy Serious?
One of the better "Dragsters" came today, and Garlit's makes a very interesting comment (among many others) in the second-to-last-paragraph (....."stock"......"It's very fun.")
His comment about the stall in his Challenger at the Nat's confirms my thoughts, that Mother Mopar, or someone, really let him down on prepping the car.....MoPar should have gone "all-out" to make sure that car was ready to fly with all the attendant publicity and for what Garlit's has done for them over the decades....shame on someone |
Re: Is Big Daddy Serious?
Big, Jeggie and others seem to be having the "new car de-bugging" issues w/the DP cars. Irv Johns seems to have a good jump on the rest of the gang so far....Need a bunch of them to show at Charlotte and run 'em 4 wide...:DWJ
