Battery Cut Off Switch
Just out of curiosity how does cuting off a battery disconect switch on a computer car affect the performance. I routinely cut my switch off if we are going to be down awhile. Does cutting off the switch cause the computer to go into "learn" mode everytime? Could this be where my inconsistancy is coming from? What do most people do, never cut it off once you get to the track, cut it off after every run? Or does it not affect anyting just like a carb car. Just looking for opinions.

Re: Battery Cut Off Switch
If your using the factory PCM, yes it does. At least my factory Mopar PCM does. It looses it adaptive learning's such as short term/long term fuel trims.

Re: Battery Cut Off Switch
we have a separate wire to the computer and disconnect it every run. seems to help with the inconsistency a lot.
