I'll be there running my very first Stock race. Well it wil be the first if we don't go to La March 5-7. Still unsure about that.

Same here, I am putting the motor back together this week. I had a couple of mistakes I had to fix first. It's amazing what you can tear up when you get in a hurry.

We will be at Crandall. My buddy Ed Wright says he's not going this year. I still have time to work on him though. He needs to finish his motor and get down there.

At the bottom it says a special bonus race is planned. Anyone have any idea what this might be?

In Division 4 racers will have an opportunity for a three-day weekend with two Summit Pro-Am points paying events crammed into one exciting weekend March 12-14 at Dallas Raceway. Known as the “Concrete Palace,” Dallas Raceway is simply one of the nicest racing facilities in the nation and racers competing at the divisional event will have a rare opportunity to compete at a world class facility and take home two races worth of points all in one weekend.

“Dallas Raceway has caught the attention of racers across the country and it is great to be able to have this facility opening the season,” said Frank Kohutek, IHRA Division 2 & 4 Director. “To give these racers such an incredible venue to race and two races worth of points on top of that is a great value to the racers.

“It is going to be a great event and I can’t wait to get it started.”

Gates open Friday morning with a test and tune later that evening. Time trials and qualifying will begin at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday with Summit Pro-Am eliminations scheduled for later each evening.

Both events also have special bonus races planned each weekend.
