front tires and a .400 tree?

What is a common front tire height for S/G type cars?

Is a 26" tire too tall for a decent reacting full body car?

Thanks

4.0" -4.5 "x 23" -24" sis the most common for a good car ........Some guys still use the 22" rubberbands up front . look like crap , but does work.. ........ 25"fronts ,mabe, on a good track,in killer air ,tight lights, and a killer car ,but i'd use 24" tire . .Tom

So does everybody agree with that? What works for you?

I use a 23"...with the front suspension tied 45# of pressure.

A typical full-chassis super gas car will pop the front end almost straight up at the hit, and front tire size is not as critical. If your car doesn't do that, then the smaller the better.

Mine's just a ladder bar car (and not nearly as quick as some of the SG cars these days). I find about 0.020-0.030 difference between 23" and 25" tall front tires. I mostly bracket race my car, and I prefer the 25" tires for ground clearance.
