Re: Quick Question.............
I have the same question. Why did no one take a 2008 Mustang CJ to the Winters? I thought for sure that Hajek would return with Holtzman or someone else driving since Calvert is busy wheeling two cars. The CJ's certainly have no problem being competitive in stick or auto. The 2010 models just began delivery last week and should all be in customer/dealer hands by the end of the month. I believe at least two 425HP cars will be at the Gators in Stock but I'm not sure of the 475HP in Super Stock/ B form. I would like to see Paquet or Adams Thunderbolt square off against the new 475HP CJ in Super Stock/B. The old against the new. Unfortunately, I think many of the 2008 CJ's are sitting in private museums and are not being raced. I thought that at least half would be raced but so far this has not been the case. There are a ton of guys building the body in white cars but most won't be out this year or at least not until late in the year. I have heard rumors of several big names coming to the CJ ranks this spring. If true, it should be interesting. By the way, how about that Larry Morgan Pro Stocker. Three or four Fords in Pro Stock will really heat things up. Ford guys have to be feeling proud, at last.

Re: Quick Question.............
They are probably holding back on ORDERS from FoMoCo waiting for a race where FoMoCo can get BIG INK..........

Re: Quick Question.............
I think Hajec just provonanced {is that a word ?} them and put them away in storage so they would have increased value.

Re: Quick Question.............
Lol.....Did the Purchase Agreement make it so ? I cant see any Drag Racer taking ORDERS from ANYONE......
Someone tells me NOT to the first thing Ill do is show em why I can. I think someone else hit the nail on the head, many are museum bound, or private collection. At least the DP cars require so much work to be be "finished" I dont see many either being mothballed the way they ship, and I dont see many people going throught all that work just to sit on em. I think more DP Challengers will be built and raced than their CJ Counterparts. I too was disapointed at their No show at Pomona (as well as ours :):D Gainesville maybe, maybe Atlanta....well see..... Quote:

You all will see soon too soon.LOL .. One should be in Phoenix and from there on out life will become miserable in A/SA & AA/SA. They were all released last Tuesday. Division 2 Grace Howell will be out in her stocker soon.as well as Mr Big Stuff Randy Payne who would not let snow stop his trek to Detroit.... As will many others....
PS: SS/BA will be 8:80 also |

Re: Quick Question.............
There are no approved specs yet according to NHRA web page. That is why you don't see any. Don't worry they will be out soon.
