Re: new SS/DA record
Yes, it looks like Rock Haas has set the record in his very nice Mustang. Congrats Rock & crew. Joe

Re: new SS/DA record
Yes it is a new CJ Mustang. He backed up the 9.16 with a 9.20 run in the second session although it looked like he spun the tires quite a bit on the backup run.

Re: new SS/DA record
It hit the wheelie bars pretty hard on both runs....We haven't looked at the data yet as we got started right away taking it apart......certainly a lot of fun to drive in the cool air....
Thanks Rock Haas |
Re: new SS/DA record
Congratulations Rock. Awesome car! I'm sure it was alot of work in teardown.

Re: new SS/DA record
Hey thanks for your help Hugh.....pretty much everything you told me worked out good...
Teardown wasn't that bad....for 2 reasons....one....we didn't put it back together.....two...I just helped with the accessories....and BSed the rest of the time....lol Our setup is a lot simplier than the stockers...The Roush engine shop eliminated everything that wasn't necessary... Rock... Big thanks to Jimmy Ronzello and Steve Egan from Ford..... |
Re: new SS/DA record
Sweet, Way Cool to have Roush in your corner.

Re: new SS/DA record
Rock, congratulations on the record. I attend the Indy National every year, so I was able to see your car up close and personal; it looks as good as it runs.
