In D-4 they want you to show up torn down. Then they check everything seal you up and then you make the record runs. Backwards from NHRA. Ed

Re: Records at a IHRA Divisional
Bob,
If you planned on setting a record this weekend at Epping, I understand they had tear down last Thursday before the national event and then sealed the motors after they passed tech. Our best guess is that the important tech people aren't going to be there. I don't know who to call to check on this, but I'm sure an IHRA regular can post the contact you need. |

I have a modifed motor. don't they just pump the motor???
|
Re: Records at a IHRA Divisional
Bob, yes should be pump only. however you need to be there first day of event to be pumped. last year they didn't want to pump mine on sat. so i could set the record. However they finally agreed to do so, guess they cut the number of guys working the event so they have no time for tech on Sat.-Sun. Joe

Re: Records at a IHRA Divisional
they did tear downs before the national lask week. my modified was only pumped and given a quick look-over. i was told that they may have time to do a few cars on friday before the div. but he wasn,t sure if they would have enough staff on hand at that time.
