Direct Connection Degree Wheel & CC Crankshaft Socket
Vintage Direct Connection degree wheel purchased in 1979; very good condition, i.e. not bent, etc.. I used it on six engines to degree camshaft: one 383, four 440's and one 426 HEMI. Also, Competition Cams crankshaft socket/degree wheel holder for Mopar engines. Like new, only used once. I sure wish I had it the other five times!
If you ever degreed a camshaft (duh!) on a Mopar, you know what a pain it is to turn over the engine via the crankshaft bolt in the counterclockwise direction because it wants to loosen--and it does, in turn, disturbing your degree wheel reading. This special socket eliminates this problem by a) holding the degree wheel securely in place--WITHOUT over-tightening it--and b) you're able to turn engine over in either direction without the aforementioned nuisance because you're using the keyway in the crankshaft and not the threaded-in crankshaft harmonic balancer bolt to accomplish the task. http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/396...greewheel1.jpg http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/6...greewheel2.jpg http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/8...greewheel3.jpg http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/410...greewheel4.jpg $65.00 (free shipping) If interested send private message.
