Skyview nightof fire was awsome

The owners and staff at skyview are the nicest people you'll ever meet and know how to treat a racer,i have been there a dozen times ,and its always a pleasure to race there, anybody in a 1-3 hour drive time should visit the track, the dragstrip is second to none, they have a banked concrete oval track that is state of the art.you can watch drags&circle track at the same time, hats of to amy, george, and the rest of the skyview crew.my family and i had an awsome time this past weekend and made some money too!! Thats always a plus.. Again hats off to the skyview crew!!!!!! Joe fiano g/cm 1267

Joe, Worst race track I have ever raced on. Worst starting line prep by a long shot. I particularly like having to back up to do a burn-out. That way a 1/8 mile shot can take as much time as two 1/4 mile runs. People are nice, hot dogs are cheap too but neither make it worthy of unloading a Stocker and trying to make some consistant passes on a poor track.

Sorry to hear you feel that way but Tony Platiania was 5 feet in the air every pass and took home the iron "2" years in a row in stock, running 6.70"s and i took home day 2 stock ironman last year running low 6.80"s i think the track in the next couple of years will be one of the best div 1 IHRA tracks arond just my opinion!!!

I agree about the owners and staff, liked their cheeseburgers too. Track prep seemed just fine to me, best 60 foot ever back in August. Labor day weekend kept me away from pro-am redo @ skyview and the 7 hour tow to and fro. Raced saturday and sunday @ Epping and parked the cars for this weekend. If you come to Epping for the national event this weekend, or for the pro-am next week, expect the same type of treatment......of course you will be running 1/4 mile.

Eric
