2009 Indy Stock Eliminator Bump Prediction Contest
 

Official end date to post a prediction is August 24,2009.While there currently are no prizes,maybe some sponsors will get on board........

"WHAT WILL BE THE OFFICIAL BUMP SPOT OF THE 128 CAR FIELD AT INDY IN STOCK ELIMINATOR or THE LAST QUALIFIER IF LESS THAN 128!

The prediction needs to be made to the thousandth.(If you predict a number that is quicker than the bump,you "breakout" and LOSE!

Example.......-.985 UNDER (Actual bump - .965,this prediction loses.)

Please specify UNDER or OVER,as it is possible,but not likely,that the last car is slower than the index.


The tie breaker is to predict how fast the number 64 car in the field will be under the index.

Lets start to see some predictions.The last day to post is August 24,2009.

It will take a .938 under to get in...

#64? I say...1.059 under.

I'll guess that it will be humid and field won't be completely full so I predict .348 under to make the show and .835 under for #64.

Number 128 will take .879 to make the field. # 64 1.134 under. There will be more than 128 cars at Indy.

I will go with -.941 for the bump. and -1.102 for #64

I'll say.915 under for the bump and 1.035 under for the 64th spot.

Everyone says light field...can't see it because it is Indy!

Bump will be .908 under and the 64th car will be 1.05 under the index.

Low turn out. .888 and .999 @ 64 I probably won't make it again. I will also predict No Hurricane for Labor Day Weekend.
