Good news was 27 cars when Bandimere Speedway officials expected 10. For 2009 Bandimere will run a S/SS combo as part of their regular program and crown a season track champion. Sorry I do not have race results yet. Bill Ringer |

Re: Denver National Open S/SS Qualifying
Jeff Johnson won the race. Both Jeff and Brad ran right on there dials but Jeff had the better light.
Congrads to Jeff!!!!!!!! Bobby, Brandi Stevens |
Re: Denver National Open S/SS Qualifying
Way to go Jeff...Congratulations to you from Az.
With the way the economy has been lately (especially with regards to my works operation out here), part of me wishes I would've stayed there, and then there would've been 28 cars??? Good Job to you too Brad, and great effort in your r.u. too! :) |
Re: Denver National Open S/SS Qualifying
Gary, you`d have been proud of the FWD contingent. Randy made it to the semis for the second year in a row!! Lane

I tell you what "Hawk", if things keep going here economically the way they have been so far this year (down hill that is), don't be surprised if you don't find me either back there this fall, or somewhere else??? My company is expanding in all areas (of interest to me), except here in metro Phoenix, and it was just announced that they are opening a new distribution center in Ft. Collins (that was acquired from another parts operation). Furthermore, I'm more enthused about the future IHRA track that's being built in Kimball, Ne., to go along with Rocky Mountain Raceway over there in Utah! Having some IHRA competition is what NHRA apparently needs out our way, and those two venues are creating new opportunities, and making me rethink why I moved out here---especially since you and Randy have probably done more racing there than I've done here so far (and I had a 4mth headstart season-wise), but no money... :( I hope you went some rounds two Hawk??? Moreover, I hope you guys keep it going up there, and give me some more good news to read about in "drag race central", these next two months (with both of your cars)!!! :) |
Re: Denver National Open S/SS Qualifying
My day went alright, made it to the quarter finals. Was the first time down the track for me this season in the Skyhawk,so I was pleased. Still knockin` the rust off. Lane
