The car is deadly and just plain works .024,.012,.022 lights in those rounds.
Way to go Dad keep it up!

Congrats! I'm happy to see people succeeding at racing the "old school" way. It was great to see Ted Seipel win a national in S/G recently with a small block and speeds in the low 120's.

I'm just finishing my S/G car (taking it back out after 15+ years in mothballs). I'll just be bracket racing it throttle-stopped into the 10's initially (too much $$ for all the SFI parts and the chassis cert), but even when I run it in S/G I think it will be "old school" configuration.

Regards,

I'm a firm believer of doing what you feel comfortable doing. Get to know your car and what it wants.
Good luck and have fun. That's the most important thing.
