Nhra rules
 
I'm confused about an NHRA Rule...on page 287 0f the nhra 2009 rule book. The eighth item down is "Electric 16.00 & Quicker" with a Y for yes in every box except "14.00 & Slower". That box has a 2:4 ,
and 2:4 is driveline related such as driveshaft shields and driveshaft hoops.
So what "ELECTRIC" are they refering to ???

John,
I don't have a rule book in front of me but could they be referring to dragsters powered by electric motors?

All the other items are required equipment like aftermarket axles,arm restraints,driveshaft loopsafety equipment for each ET level...like 6.00 to 7.49 ,7.50 to 9.99 and so on, so I don't think that is it.

John, They have the same thing listed in every rule book,I have back to 2003. Tom
