Almost live from Atlanta

Below are some pictures of the happenings in Atlanta. I'm not at Atlanta, so we are almost live. Sal Biondo sent me some pictures along with the some weather for the day. Weather at 2:30 was 72 degrees, 25% humidity, bar, was 29.56, corrected altitude was 1600. Jimmy Ronzello gives fans a tour of his and George Wright's 2008 SS/E Cobra Jet. Fans seem to love the new car, Jimmy was giving the full tour, including letting them set behind the wheel.
Sal told me that Jackson was tossed after tech, do not know why. |
Re: Almost live from Atlanta
David was tossed because they said he claimed the wrong year on the engine. Like a 71 instead of 73, But I understand that the 71 and the 73 have the same piston rule now. Im not a guru on that but thats what I was told. Heads and everything else was fine. I hate it for David. He is a great and first class guy.

Re: Almost live from Atlanta
Did the same to Lloyd Woffard at Gainesville. He filled Tech Card out putting the wrong year on it. . Showed up at Atlanta #1. With economy like it is you would think they would want to work with racers no the my way or the highway. Now I'm not saying anyone should be illegal, but if the heads, pistons, crank and rod was right, but year was some confusion.....Well what you do guys think?

Sal told me it was very foggy this morning, although the sun is burning the fog up fast. Here are a few pictures on the way into the track along with the weather conditions as of 8 am.
