GM 2005+ Late Model stockers
Seeing how any new performance cars from GM at this point seems unrealistic, what about giving the late model cars that are out there (2005+ LS2 GTO to 375hp?, 2005+ LS2 Corvette to 375hp?/LS7 Corvette to 425hp?) horsepower factors that will at least give them some slim chance of being competitive. At this point it is an all Ford/Mopar show with the new CJ Mustang and the new Hemi Challenger. I know that the guys with the older cars in AA thru G sure don't want ANOTHER soft combo in their particular class, but I do think a separate FX class for all these combos would be a good option.

Great idea but it will never pass muster .That plus building a Corvette Z06 / LS7 car makes one of those new CobraJet Mustangs look like a bargain .............

Re: GM 2005+ Late Model stockers
Why doesn't GM do exactly what Ford did? Take the Cadillac CTS V Supercharged engine, detune it via a remapped ECU to lets say 425 hp then stick it in a new Camaro? Give it a part number instead of a vin number and we'll figure out the rest.
As of this morning Waggoner is gone so I'll email Pelosi to see if I can get it going. |

Eddie, nobody is running the OEM ECU anyway. I think that is part of what Craig was saying.
