Information about MANDRA?

Considering joining Mid Atlantic Nostalgia Drag Racing Association(MANDRA). Does anyone have any experiances with them? Any info would be helpful

Mandra has been coming to our track for several years, Quarter Aces Drag-O-Way in Boiling Springs Pa.
A laid back good group of racers that race for FUN. Two classes, A and B-- 10.99 and quicker and 11.00 and slower, all cars pre 1973 models. They will be at our track 2 times this year June 14 and Aug 9. They do have a points deal but not a lot of pressure with this group.

They are a great group. Good fun and old cars.....none of this late model junk with computers and turbos and FI unless its a fulie from the 57-65 era.

They have some races at Beaver Springs, too. Great part of the show.

By the way, I talked to a MANDRA member Charlie Innerst recently. They are also working on details for a Junior Stock class. Biggest rule would be the look of the car, flat hood, no aftermarket hood scoop, big cowls etc. Would have 14.00 and quicker cars ,dial your own handicap. Another fun class, let MANDRA know if you'd like them to offer this class as well as the A and B bracket classes.

That sounds like a fun deal to me.
