Fiberglass Repair
The fiberglass front bumper on my 1970 Nova has a split but it's not broken completely off. I can open it to a certain point and then close it back where it looks like it isn't cracked at all when i keep a little pressure on it. Is there a glue or some kind of substance i can buy that will bond and keep this item mended like a rock? ---- Thanks

Re: Fiberglass Repair
Grind the crack in a V shape and use fiberglass and fiberglass resin to make the repair. It will be a bit more work but the repair will be much stronger. Glues and/or adhesives may mend the crack but, the repair may not be as good as using fiberglass to reinforce the damage.

Kev, there should be lots of boat builders around to help you bud!
