Does anyone know if Garlits will be running his Challenger DragPack car at Bradenton next weekend? Is there any word on any more Challengers being built?

Don Garlits will not be running the new Challenger next weekend. The final approval from the NHRA Tech Dept should come next week. No Drag Pak Challengers have been delivered to customers yet and I've been told there will be 10-15 cars built a month.

Thanks for posting. I'm glad that the Challengers are still a go. This should be a great year for Stock Eliminator.

Who's bell do I need to ring out there in Glendora to get a answer on something; my friend sent in a request about getting a weight reduction last summer and has yet to recieve an aswer one way or the other. He was told at Concord in September he woukd have an answer after the finals. Well the NHRA Finals came and went and nothing came out in the year end reviews. He called Glendora and inquired and they tried to play dumb like they had never seen his request. well he resent the original message that showed they recieved and was told he would here something before Pomona, guess what no answer.Is there anyine you could oint us to get this resolved, we followed rocedures yet the sportsmen guys don't seem to be interested in our request.

Without knowing your situation I might start with your division tech director. Who did your buddy talk to in Glendora? Maybe try emailing them again. I have no special ties to the Tech Dept but I’m sure if you have a problem they will try to help get it solved. Is it a weight reduction on a Mopar? 7820, what do you mean?
