Darrin,

I have been using Sepanek for years and very pleased.. But I think there are other good guys in your backyard.. PTC & Billy Linn are also very good and close to home for you......... Dave,

Thanks for all the replies. To be more specific, the trans would be used in modified or modified stock class. It would be a small block in a front wheel drive conversion. How reliable are the Pro Trans or TH350 in these applications? What exactly is a Pro Trans, is it a GM trans or Chrysler trans with an adapter to fit a sbc? Thanks again for the help.

I have it on pretty good authority that Billy Lynn has sold his transmission shop and retired.

However, I also heard that he wil be doing a limited amount of race-related transmission work during that "retirement."

Could be worth a try.... he's very good.

Mopar "904" internal design on rotating parts in a GM case..far,far more durable than a th200 i would guess..

For GM..= Mopar "904" internal design on rotating parts in a GM case..far,far more durable than a th200 i would guess..in modified i think you can have a "proflite" ..basically the same thing from A1...pretty standard deal for most Go Fast guys..
