In Car Video

Where can I find reasonable in car video equipment? I only got a few seconds worth of video when I had the car out for the first (only) time.

I used my digital camera, at vegas with a small bracket hose clamped to the rollcage. The Picture was very nice, and recorded the full run. I will see if I can get it to load up.

S&W sells a bracket that hose clamps to the roll bars / cage so you can use a regular video camera. I have one in my bracket car and just one of the cheap $200 cameras from sams club. Works great to watch over gauges while testing stuff or trying to figure out a problem.

Oddly enough, I saw an ad in Sunday's paper for a "Motorsports Camera" at Pep Boy's, of all places. 199.99 with a mounting base. Records up to 2 hours. #GMHW5170. That's all I know about it, not a recommendation, but you might take a look at it.

I did see a LOT of video systems being shown at the PRI show. I seems like that is the hot ticket for road course and roundy-round guys. They look pricy though.

Try one of these. I heard good things about them for the price. http://www2.oregonscientific.com/sho...cid=14&pid=709
I think they're motion activated.

Try gopro.com, compact and durable, and easy to operate for about $200. I just got one and can't wait to use it. Also can be had with roll-bar mount and I believe is water resistant to 100-feet.
