Kinston Drag Strip will have a stock and super stock combo this coming weekend dec 6 &7. along with their Tobaco filed nationals winter series bracket program .You can run both footbrake and s/ss if you want to .Good money in both..NHRA & IHRA cars welcome .. Had about 19 cars. Weather was very nice til rain @ 7 pm. Did get up to the finals. It was one of the Rowe brothers and Larry (LD) Whitley. Larry's grandson ,Tyler Bell was driving Larry's car.They split 800.00 a peice. This was also Tyler's first race in a full size car after stepping up from Jr dragsters .No doubt Larry has a NEW driver now !!!! Big congrats for Tyler on his first finals in his first race .That little dude was kicking buttt. No combo today. But they do have $2000.00 to win in foot brake today . gates open @ 11:00.45 degrees high today .see ya!!!!! We all had a great time and track was awsome ! !

I was wrong for the finals .It was not one of the Rowe brothers . It was one of the Longhaney brothers .. The white mopar . Sorry for mistake .Today was cold ,but race got done .David Banks had to run David Banks . Not a mistake this time . He was foot feeding a nice lookin70 nova running 5.50's and did a fine job . In box class it was Danny Waters Jr (my son ) winning over Glenn Lane . /All done til Winterfest race in January .See ya there ,////and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! !!!

Jeff Longhaney was the other finalist in the combo. I have to brag on my son for making it to the semi's in Jr. Dragster before the rain hit, it was the first time he's won money and boy was he thrilled!!!

CONGRATC. I geuss you will be replaced in super/stock shortly ./tell everyone about the combo race at KDS in Feb .this should be plenty of time for all who did not come the first time.
