I think it's great that they added more sportnationals! We now have 4 nationals within a 3 hour drive and one in a 5 hour drive. Hopefully they will secure more contingency sponsors for these events. Thank You IHRA for thinking about us!!

Imagine that.......the Budds Creek National Event was moved back to September and does not conflict with a Div. 1 NHRA race!!!! Somebody must have been listening to us!!! Now when is the points race schedule coming out??

The IHRA Natioanl event at Epping NH and the Englishtown divisional fall on the same weekend!

Being that Englishtown is a pre entered field,that area still has enough racers to pack NED if they care to race.Out inthe Mid West it might be a problem though.

I see alot of talk about the IHRA Sportsnats., However I haven't seen anything in print as to, The entry fees, The payouts, Or the Contingency list.Maybe someone from IHRA ( Scooter) could give us a clue on this seeing how they say they've been working on this for a year according to his letter. The Englishtown divisional race is not a pre-entry race......& they scheduled them on top of eachother last year to, BIG mistake!

I'm curious how they're going to pull off a 2 day national event at Budds Creek. I hope they aren't planning on sportsman getting 1 run and go racing, not for what it cost to enter a national event. Better plan on Monday as a vacation day instead of Friday I guess!
