Went today to watch and good thing my friend called me before I got in the gate (about 11:30AM).He said the race was pulled due to bad track conditions.I didn't see for myself so dont kill the messenger. The kicker was that the track refunded the track entry fee for the driver only.Anyone who came with the driver got no refund.Any body there with any info on the track conditions,I dont want to speculate. It's a shame having to waste fuel to get there for nothing.

Hey Ed, Dave posted earlier what happened there today. From what he posted it was the right call.

On a side note. I was cleaning out some old stuff and found an article about some guy named Ed bracket racing a Gremlin named American Graffitti. You've had that thing a long time, will try to remember to bring the mag to Atco next spring.

I want to state that the ECSSSA had nothing to do with the refund policy that was perpertrated on the crew members at Englishtown. It was 100% the track who sucked in the $$$ for nothing.Their policy is as erratic as a wino making his way home after 2 gallons of Wild Irish Rose.

Thanks for the info.I think Dave made a good call when he did.I heard Steve C, had a rough time at mid track and being the coolness of the day and track the high hp cars would have had a tought time getting down the track. As the sun worked on the surface I guess it got better. It's still pretty crappy that the track didn't refund crew members entry who left early.Probably convinced some never to come back again.I was lucky and was called just before they got my $$.Congrats to Donnie and ? (Larry or Jeff).
