Div 2-6 race?? Weather??
 

How is the pits there at silver dollar raceway? Weather shows 80 % on Friday and looks like alot of rain. From local drivers exp. How dose it effect a 3 day race? Will the race go on for saturday and sunday? Would hate to drive 800 miles to get rained out.

I have only been there once and we had thurderstorms. No problem with muddy pits that I know of.
I've got everything loaded and will be heading out at 7 am tomorrow

Im planing on leaving tomorrow @ 8 PM. But wacthing the weather pretty close. If any body has anymore info on how the pits are, please let me know, or if you here anything from the local div 2 guys. Thanks JP.

The pits consist of all grass so if it rains, you know the outcome!!!! But, your guaranteed to have a good time. Ed knows how to treat the racers, he's one of us!!! All I see so far is rain on Friday.

The pits are just fine even when it rains never had a problem and if it does rain the gentlemen that run that track will do what they can to make sure you get to race

Jason, we were there last year and it rained. No problem. We're heading out early in the morning. See ya' there.

I've been there in the rain a few times. All of the pit area is grass, but most of the ground is solid. I've never seen a problem. Also, I think last year they put straw on top of the soft spots.

The ground is solid and the drainage is good. We were there last year and it rained Thursday, and at least some on Friday. Was no problem to get the rig out, or to race.
