Jerry Jennings Birthday next Saturday- age 70 and still shifting
 

Just wanted everyone who sees my Dad at Rockingham to wish him a Happy Birthday. He will turn 70, next Saturday- Oct. 25th.

Also Mom and Dad celebrated 50 years of marriage on Oct.4th ! He was racing when she met him, and continues to come with him. They adopted Stephen and I, and made both of us drag racers too.

My uncles and my dad ran the Seate Brothers Camaro in the 80`s. I was a kid but I looked up to guys like your dad and Mike Boyles. They all had Fulton motors and 4 speeds. Those years made an impression on me that has never left. I can only hope to be in this as long as your father. He is a champion that has stood the test of time. Maybe now he can fix up some of those Corvairs! Kudos to a good guy!!!!

I usually talk to your mother and dad at the races but somehow I missed them this time at the ROCK. No nicer people on the face of this old earth than Jerry and his wife. Please tell Jerry I said Happy Birthday, and to the both of them Happy 50th, and I hope they have many more. And for Jerry to keep shifting those GEARS.

We talked at rockingham and he had some of Ray's cooking. Tell Jerry to have a super B-day an let Tasha and I know when they will be in Pigeon Forge
