Friend in need, Fall Classic
 

I have had some bad news this past week. A very good friend of mine and many Dave Vaseloff has been diagnosed with cancer. Dave has been a local racer at Indy for many years racing his Camaro and dragster. Dave was the winner of the Fall Classic stock catagory in 2006. Myself and a few others will be handing out some flyers at the classic. Dave's neighbor told me if he felt well enough he would come out.
Please say a prayer for Dave and his family. As many of you know all of us racers are a tight group. Please help Dave and his family as you can.

I heard Saturday Dave has come home from the hospital. I went Friday evening to see him. He was alert but in alot of distress. Daves friends have set up an account at National City bank under his name for any donations to help cover the cost of the medical expenses. We have some jugs around the track and we are also taking donations for him as well.
Please keep Dave and his family in your prayers.

Let us know how to make a donation. You're right....racers are a tight group! If there is anything else that we can do to help, please post it.

It is sad to report, Dave's neighbor told me this morning Dave lost his battle with cancer today. Please pray for his family.

Dave was a really nice guy who helped me out on many occasions. He never made a big deal about his accomplishments, but there were many. He was a talented fabricator and a really smart guy who would do anything for anybody. Rest in peace, my friend. (19 days from diagnosis to his passing...so sad)

I meet Dave once what a nice guy my thaughts and prayers go out to the whole family. I am really sorry to hear that. This is the excact reason while I live life one day at a time to its fullest you just never know. God Speed Dave!
