My '96 LT1 Caprice runs 15.70's in the 1/4, 1700'. I will see if I can find a time slip for the 1/8th. The SS might be a little quicker, I have the 2.90 gears. The car is bone stock.

I know I'm not Corbitt, but I race with him in the Southeast Impala Racing Series. I run a LT1 Caprice in G/PS, and while not nearly as fast as his, it is still street driven and has A/C. Most of these cars stock run mid 14s in the quarter and 9.20-9.50s in the 1/8th. You might also want to check out the ImpalaSSforum.com.

I think most of them are within a couple hundred pounds. Usually 4100 to 4300 or so. Some stripped 9C1 cars may be lighter. If you would like to discuss further, just email me at grdavenport@hotmail.com. Always like talking B-bodies...
