Line lock lines??
I'm at the point of remounting the new M/C and hooking up the
line lock. Problelm: 1974 Duster/383 BB/1-7/8 hooker super comp fenderwell headers which run just under the M/C. (I have a new heat shield for under the M/C). I am switching over to the more modern version of the 2 bolt M/C with the 4 bolt adapter and I want to mount the line lock unit to the left of the M/C on the firewall, but do I use hard lines or flex lines?? With the fenderwell headers I need to remove the M/C if I need to remove the left side header. Open to comments and opinions. |

THats ones easy, nothing but hard lines

Re: Line lock lines??
My son has a 67 Barracuda-440-fenderwells with flexible stainless brake hoses with no problems. Started with auto parts brake hoses and they didn't work as well as the stainless ones. Less expansion with the stainless.

Re: Line lock lines??
But are the S/S flexable lines legal for NHRA?
Thanks for the responses. |
Re: Line lock lines??
He doesn't have any problems with tech and I've got them on all four corners but I don't have rule book with me at work so I can't tell you for sure.
