A trip down ZMax in Charlotte
For everone that couldn't make it down to Charlotte this weekend, I tossed the camera up on the cage for the first time run. I posted the movie here: http://www.siracing.com/movies/zmaxtt1.wmv so you can check it out.
This place is certainly very smooth, got a ton of shutdown, but the turnoff down the end is a little tight. It certainly has that new track smell to it, too. ;) -Mike |
Re: A trip down ZMax in Charlotte
Nice video Mike, is it really as narrow on the turnoff as it looks? Also looks like you have to zig zag to get on the return rd.

Re: A trip down ZMax in Charlotte
looks like short area between burnout box and starting line and yes the return road is a little dorky for being a new track they laid out on paper.

Re: A trip down ZMax in Charlotte
Damn, the shutoff is sooooo long, I think Mike could have made a sandwich, played a card game and still had enough time to turn off the end of the track.

Re: A trip down ZMax in Charlotte
Thanks for the ride, that was awesome! Do you think TF cars will have a problem negotiating the zig zag?

Mark, Pro's Alcohol and Comp turn off of other side. go figure, I'm figuring you can get 3 , 18 wheelers side by side around that turn on that side.
