Inline Stop Help!
Due to hood clearance I can't run a base type stop I have an 88' Mustang with stock cable linkage how can I adapt a inline stop?
Thanks |
Re: Inline Stop Help!
I had the simular problems with the linkage on my car. With the motor set back the cable had a pretty sharp bend and there was really not a lot of room for the inline stop. I was looking a Comp car and they turned the carb around and used a morse type cable with a nice radius bend. Works perfectly..

Re: Inline Stop Help!
A couple things, as said make sure you use jet extensions on the primary if you turn the carb around. Also, plug your primary power valve (you should not race with one in the secondary and don't need it) and jet up appropriately, usually 6 to 8. On launch a power valve on a rear bowl can be uncovered, there are no extensions on them.
