Just so it gets noticed
NHRA is so far from the concept it started from ...its not even funny!!!
I read "Wally would turn over in his grave" ..... "Was this Wally's Vision?? I doubt it" ... But Wally was around & allowed a lot of changes that never should have happened. Either Wally had no control or he went over to the darkside with ...You know the Bean Counters & Frontmen only looking to make a buck. For you guys to young to know about the roots of NHRA...it was started to get racers off the streets & on the tracks. I would love to hear how NHRA is still doing that!!! They have made it so expensive to race NHRA that you have to be independitly wealthy to go to a divisional. Wally didnt do anything that I know of to stop that.. I cant understand why everyone bows down to Wally when the changes happened on his watch. NHRA is like the Kentucky Derby.... A Playground for the Rich... Let the Flaming begin .... all you rich Bastards can start crying that the poor folks that dont run 10's need to stay home. Your silence shows NHRA that you agree or will tolerate current policy. If You agree with me ...Let your voice be heard... unless you are afraid!! |
Re: Just so it gets noticed
They are not even a shadow of the origional NHRA. Just a dog and pony show now. No real car people in the stands anymore. Watch them swarm from the seats after the nail polish remover burners are done. they wont even watch Pro Stock run.

Re: Just so it gets noticed
It's most unfortunate that PINKS has taken the national banner of getting street racers to the track and off of the street and BOTH of the major Orgs are focused on the oilers and the bottom line. The Major Orgs have gotten us some real nice Tracks to race at but we still enjoy the little old places like Kinston and Piedmont that are totaly racer friendly. Beaver Springs in Pa is a KOOL place too.
