WTB/SS 283 parts
 

My son needs the following items to get started on our 283 SS motor.

1. Roller lifters

2. Jesel/Comp belt drive

3. Jesel rockers complete

3. 283 .060 flat top pistons w/pins

4. ATI/TCI damper

5. Springs, retainers, locks

6. Intake

7. Chevy II oil pan

I would buy all this brand new, but i'm one of those odd SS racers on a small budjet

I have a new still in the box set + 1 for a total of 9 of forged TRW pistons. Part number L2296F that are .050 over. Ring grooves are 1/16, 1/16, 1/8. Will sell for $200 plus shipping.

hello Ed, I have complete SS 283 ,Bme 2 ring pistons lite pns ss factory rods epoxy heads jessel rockers etc no chevy 2 pan, a corvette pan no belt drive , timing chain only filled block lifter bores bushed,victor4x4 manifold and deano carb plus a 2.08 trans brake glide ,......engine went .44 under needs freshened have new luneak rings asking 4000.oo for engine 1500.oo for trans 909 632-8325 make offer for package
