Memphis, what'd ya think ?
 

After reading some stuff on a couple other boards, I was wondering what everyone thought of the race. Even though I could'nt hold Larry Stewart off in 1st rd, I had a pretty good time. I thought the track was good for the conditions. I don't remember hearing anyone complain about anything but the heat. I don't know how anyone could race during the day , say at Vegas or something like that. I hate go out in the 1st rd, as much as anyone, but overall, ?
I did like having Sunday to drive home at a decent pace, instead of racing home to be at work on Monday.

Kenny I have to agree with you there. I think it is a good idea during the summer months. Now when the air is good and records can be set, a 2 day race would be pushing it. I don't think the tech crew enjoyed the 2 AM nights as much as we did

Yeah, but your young. Some of that was way past my bedtime. Like 1st round. Evidently past Elisha's also. Just two old men having a nap in their cars. Pretty sad, right?

I was so happy I wasn't red this time I almost didn't care.

Yep, We had a pretty good time too. Wish I could have survived 1st round though:o.........

Yeah, if I had survived 1st round I would have had a heads-up 2nd round. :-)

But, if my Aunt had different plumbing she would have been my uncle, right?
