Re: Jr. Stock Final at Island Dragway
Looks like Stevie went as fast at Island as he did at Atco.
How many cars entered Jr. Stock? |
Re: Jr. Stock Final at Island Dragway
Is that G weight? Man that is cookin! What was the weather?

Re: Jr. Stock Final at Island Dragway
Junior Stock is run at the 11-pound weight break with a 12.30 index. So far, over in Division 1, all of the final rounds have turned out to be great races in both Top Stock and Junior Stock over the last three years.
Don't know the specifics about the weather, but it was less than ideal. |
Re: Jr. Stock Final at Island Dragway
Pretty sporty! If I was that fast at 11.0lbs, I would start saving Gas money for Indy now. Thanks for the video!

Re: Jr. Stock Final at Island Dragway
Is the hp rating 252 on a 93 Mustang or is NHRA not up to date ? Can a car move up two classes to run JR Stock . ? Not trying to start anything , i have a friend that wants to try JR Stock .

Re: Jr. Stock Final at Island Dragway
Factory rating is 235, the NHRA rating is 252. All the specs are in the NHRA Classification Guide. Any car that can meet the 11.0 lb. break can run Jr. Stock. It doesn't matter what the natural class is. My car is a natural I/S car that I run in H/S.
